About The Blood Connection
As a nonprofit blood center, The Blood Connection carefully stewards its resources to best serve the community. All donated blood stays local, supplying nearby hospitals with the critical, life-saving products they rely on.

Despite remarkable advancements in medicine, there is still no synthetic alternative to human blood—medical facilities depend entirely on voluntary donors. Maintaining a steady, sufficient blood supply is essential for treating cancer patients, supporting surgeries, managing chronic blood disorders, and helping women who experience complications during childbirth.
To make giving more convenient, The Blood Connection brings donation opportunities directly to the community through their mobile donation units—also known as bloodmobiles.
As a token of appreciation, each donor receives an eGift card for their life-saving contribution.
